CasinoWow's exclusive talk with Mr Barrichello about the charity campaign he endorses for SOFTSWISS,fxfx cassino supporting flood-affected regions in Brazil.
At CasinoWow, we’ve heeded SOFTSWISS’ call to unite the gambling community in support of the flood-affected regions in Brazil. The company provided emergency aid and launched an information campaign listing approved charities endorsed by Rubens Barrichello, SOFTSWISS Non-Executive Director in Latin America. Now, the company is focusing on a long-term project to supply clean water equipmentto the region.
This is a charity that we also took to heart with deep care and one goal only – to spread the word and bring more people together, fighting the flood damage in all affected regions in Brazil.
We got an exclusive opportunity to speak with Rubens Barrichello and learn more about thecharity campaign that SOFTSWISS has committed to.
RB: When I began my career in Formula 1 in 1993, I found myself in the midst of a major shift – from a mechanical approach to a digital one. In Formula 1, I became highly skilled at interpreting data from sensors and car computers. This data-driven mindset is what ultimately attracted me to SOFTSWISS. This is a new race for me in many ways, but there are numerous parallels between my sports and tech careers.
Moreover, when I joined SOFTSWISS, I immediately felt at home — not just because of the emphasis on technology and data but also because of the alignment of our values. SOFTSWISS, like me, strongly believes in corporate social responsibility and responsible gaming.
Even before we launched our charity initiatives in Brazil, I was proud to associate my name with SOFTSWISS as a responsible company with a conscientious approach to software development.
Now, with SOFTSWISS, I’m thrilled to be part of a community that shares my commitment to charity and CSR. For many years, I’ve initiated numerous charity projects through the Barrichello Family Institute and participated in various third-party charity events. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness the positive impact these efforts can have.
So, when the largest flood in Brazil's history struck in May, leaving thousands of people in need, SOFTSWISS didn’t just stand by. As someone who knows a lot about charity work – and as a Brazilian – I did my best to create a truly impactful project with SOFTSWISS.
Our goal wasn’t just to donate money but also to guide others on how to help effectively. I vetted the list of trustworthy organisations to ensure that any contributions would reach those in need.
In addition, our campaign received support from 11 media outlets, who helped spread the word for free.
But we didn’t stop there. We also developed a long-term plan to continue supporting Rio di Grande, the hardest hit region.
RB: Two schools have new water purification equipment set up and ready for children and teachers. In September, when classes start, a team from our partners will visit these schools. They will not only demonstrate how to use the equipment and change the filters but also educate the community on the benefits and impact of clean water on health.
You know, it might seem obvious to us that drinking contaminated water is bad for our health. However, in regions where access to clean water is limited, people often don’t realise that their water might be the cause of their illnesses.
Another nice aspect of this project is that at the end of August, the children of SOFTSWISS employees will spend a week together at a summer camp in Poland. During their stay, they’ll have an educational day focused on environmental issues and the impact of the flood in Brazil.
The kids will also create themed gifts for the children in Brazil.
We believed it was within our power to foster this kind of international connection between the children.
RB: I’m happy to use my personal brand to support companies and causes that I believe in. Early in my racing career, I was fortunate to have the backing of food company Arisco. Now, I want my name and brand to be associated with SOFTSWISS and the projects they’re implementing, especially in Brazil, for the long term.
I also believe that through my network, I can positively influence these initiatives. People might think, "If Rubens is backing SOFTSWISS and its projects, it’s because he truly believes in the project," which can encourage others to support and help these efforts move forward.
RB: We all depend on society as individuals, just as society depends on the individual. So, by supporting each other, we build a globally successful society.
Society notices when a company makes a positive impact through global and important philanthropic projects. People see a business they can trust – not because of a clever slogan but because of its genuine commitment to making the world a better place.
Just today, SOFTSWISS announced a special track day event led by the company’s Non-Executive Director in Latin America, Rubens Barrichello.
The track day event will take place at the legendary Estoril Circuit in Portugal during the SBC Summit in Lisbon.
The driving activities will include:
SOFTSWISS is a global tech expert with over 15 years of experience providing innovative iGaming solutions, but their inspiration goes beyond that. Their devotion to charity work and events is truly impressive. We are more than happy we got the chance to speak with Rubens Barrichello and keep a strong partnership with SOFTSWISS. All of this simply motivates us more, and we will work alongside them to do as much as possible for not only the gambling community but also to raise awareness and support of the flood-affected regions in Brazil.
Thank you, Mr Barrichello, and thank you, SOFTSWISS, for being an inspiration.
Together, we are stronger. Together, we are making a change.
